Quiet Room Privacy Policy

Quiet Room is a sound, breathing, and timer app operated by GD Labs. This policy describes the current app, including advertising and optional remote sound downloads.

Data kept on your device

Your sound levels, saved Rooms, timer preferences, themes, and local Room session history are stored on your device using Apple platform storage. Quiet Room does not require an account and GD Labs does not receive this local routine history. Deleting the app removes this app data, subject to your device backups.

Advertising

Quiet Room uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s consent tools. Depending on your region and choices, Google and its partners may process device identifiers, advertising data, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from an IP address to provide, measure, or personalize ads. Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown where required. You can decline tracking and still use the app.

Remote sounds and service logs

The bundled sound library works offline. Optional catalog updates and additional sounds are requested from GD Labs infrastructure operated with Cloudflare. These network requests can involve technical data such as IP address, request time, user agent, requested file, and security or diagnostic logs. Downloaded sounds are cached on your device.

Room Cards

A Room Card contains a room name, emoji, sound identifiers and levels, purpose, timer recipe, and theme. It contains no account identifier or audio file. When you choose to share one, those settings are encoded in the link itself and are visible to anyone who has the link. Do not put personal information in a Room name.

Service providers and retention

Google processes advertising data under its policies. Cloudflare processes delivery and security data for our service. GD Labs retains service logs only as needed for security, reliability, and legal obligations. We do not sell your saved Room or routine history.

Your choices

• Use bundled sounds without downloading optional catalog sounds.
• Manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.
• Reset local data by deleting the app.
• Contact us to ask a privacy question.
